Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of database design and administration experience
- 7+ years of Oracle DBA experience
- 3+ years of experience with Oracle technologies including, but not limited to, Oracle RAC, Data Guard, and performance tuning and UNIX technologies such as Linux or AIX
- 7+ years of experience in database design and administration
Desired Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- 5+ years of performance tuning experience
- RAC Administration experience
- Knowledge and understanding of database administration, design, deployment, configuration, and performance tuning
- Knowledge and understanding of database backups and recovery
- Knowledge and understanding of database capacity and performance analysis
- Knowledge and understanding of database querying and creating ad hoc reporting results using SQL or similar querying methods
- 3+ years of experience with one or more of the following programming languages Python, Perl, or KornShell (KSH)
- 5+ years of experience with data analysis and documentation
- Experience with one or a combination of the following databases MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server with specific experience supporting encryption technology and encryption key management
