REQUIREMENTS:

• Core background in any of: testing, software engineering, release management, DevOps
• Strong foundation in testing – understanding of test methodology, test strategy, test case creation, testing scenarios, etc…
• Experience with cloud deployments/release management, including the use of at least one continuous deployment tool (Ansible/Chef preferred)
• Strong programming skills in Python (for test automation/deployments)
• Experience working in Linux environments
• AWS (EC2, S3) or networking experience. Ability to set up and test cloud deployment infrastructure and connectivity
• IoT domain experience is a plus

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work as tester and release engineer on cloud deployment activities for a company that is specialized in IoT for the transportation industry
• Create systems for the testing and deployment of applications to IoT devices out in the field (sitting on vehicles)
• Use your deep knowledge in testing to create test plans and test cases for testing the deployment and connectivity of cloud based applications
• Ensure AWS is set up properly for application deployments and test application connectivity/deployment success
