Skills/Requirements:

• Professional licensure: PE registration (or equivalent) in at least 1 state is strongly preferred
• Seven (7) + years of experience in electrical engineering system studies
• Transient Stability study experience using PSSE, PSLF, or PowerWorld
• Performing Generation Interconnection Request including all documentation, models, etc. needed for final submission to utility/RTO/ISO
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including proposal writing, report writing, and other technical writing
• Experience with PSSE, PSLF, PowerWorld, or TARA software packages, preferably all
• Ability to work successfully in a customer-focused, project-oriented environment

Qualifications

Additional Desired Skills

• Experience with ETAP, SKM, ASPEN, or similar software packages is preferred
• Experience working for a Consultante is preferred
• Experience performing LMP studies desired
• Experience working in an Energy Imbalance Market (EIM) preferred
• Experience in a training/mentoring role with less experienced engineers preferred
• Experience in a Direct client interface role preferred
