Job Description:


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems or Network Administration
  • Three (3) years’ experience in a technical support role supporting cross-platform applications.
  • Experience performing data analysis with different RDBMS (Oracle, SQL, Linux, Postgres and Hadoop)
  • Knowledge of integration standards and methods (Multi-speak, CIM, XML, JSON and Batch)
  • Proficient with programming languages (C#, PERL, Shell and PL/SQL) desired
  • Experience with Microsoft and other computer software (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Visual Basic)
  • Proficient with troubleshooting and root-cause analysis of processes
  • Knowledge of Sensus FlexNet, Smart Meter / Smart Point Infrastructure Systems is helpful
  • Effective oral and written communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical issues in business terms.
  • Ability to document and diagram technical systems and architectures
  • Periodic after hours and weekend work



  • Assuring the continuous delivery of valid data from the AMI end point devices into the AMI Head End systems and subsequent enterprise systems.
  • Provide support for the AMI Network and assist with the development and implementation of new products and services
  • Provide analysis and troubleshooting for the AMI System, related interfaces and business processes as needed
  • Monitor integration of the Head End systems with subsequent AMI systems
  • Ensure the daily data delivery of billing information
  • Monitor and detect anomalies and exceptions to the quality standards for the data.
  • Managing the application lifecycle, monitoring, installations, upgrades and change management processes of the AMI system with support and guidance from the Technology Organization and various business departments.
  • Develop process improvement strategies for the AMI Operations team.
  • Partner with appropriate teams to implement systems in a standardize support model with the Information Technology organization.
